Dr. Clinton Brown is from Iuka, Mississippi. Dr. Brown is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he earned his Bachelor degree in Agricultural Business. After graduation, Dr. Brown moved to Washington D.C., where he decided that his true calling was veterinary medicine. He traveled back to Mississippi State to receive his doctorate in veterinary medicine.
After graduation, Dr. Brown moved to Birmingham, AL, where he worked as an associate veterinarian at an eight doctor, small animal practice. In October of 2017, he joined our team at ACC and has been with us ever since. Dr. Brown enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, but has a special interest in canine reproduction. Our clients like Dr. Brown because of his dedication to the field and providing the best care he can to his patients and their owners. As a resident of Tuscumbia, AL, Dr. Brown drives an hour to work and an hour home, every day!
He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Alabama Veterinary Medical Association and the Colbert/Lauderdale Veterinary Medical Association. His favorite breeds to work with include all sporting breeds, especially golden retrievers. He also has a love for the Persian cat. In his spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his daughter, Darby, his two golden retrievers, Thomas and Jackson and his standard poodle, Marshall.
