Dr. Leah Scott
Dr. Leah Scott grew up in Boaz, Alabama. She went to the University of Alabama for her undergraduate degree. At UA, she was in the honor's program, Blount Undergraduate Initiative along with her sorority, Kappa Delta. She then went to Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2017. While in veterinary school, she served on the Honor Court all four years and was selected by the Dean to be Honor Court Clerk her fourth year.
Dr. Scott's favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is interacting with clients. She gained popularity quickly with her loving, caring nature and her ability to think outside of the box. Dr. Scott does well at making each client and patient feel like part of the family by doing frequent follow up calls and keeping communication clear. She especially emphasizes the importance of healthy weights in animals and educating owners about the importance of preventing fleas, ticks and heart worms.
Dr. Scott lives in Huntsville with her husband, two mixed breed dogs; Chuck and Ernie, and their cat, Jane. During her free time she enjoys doing Crossfit, going to church and traveling. She is an avid Alabama fan and loves football.
